Much Needed "Vacation"

For Mother's Day weekend, Jon and I got to go on a much needed trip to California. Jon's extended family lives out there and we used to get out there pretty often to visit. It's been getting more and more difficult so we like to take advantage of every opportunity. We were able to spend a few days out there and got to see most of his relatives (it's kind of hard making the "rounds"). We ate a lot, slept a little, and had a great time. It was great seeing everyone and really appreciate all the accommodations that were made for us (even though not everyone was expecting us...)!!

And as a side note... yes, I did ditch my mom on Mother's Day, but I know she knows how much I love and appreciate her! I would celebrate Mother's Day every day of the year if I could because I have the best mom in the world. I love you Mommy.
